When you eat tomatoes that you have grown all by yourself, you will be able to feel how different they are from the ones that are available in the market.
The steps of organic gardening:
Step 1: the first step is concerned with the ground. You will have to calculate a few things. They are:
• The trees that you will plant have to be spaced out well. The space in between them must be 18 - 36 inches apart.

The pH level of the soil should be something in between 6.2 - 6.8. If you want to grow the best quality tomatoes, this is the ideal condition for doing so.
Step 2: you have to decide what kind of tomatoes you want to grow. Some of the varieties that are found in tomatoes may not grow in your gardens. This is because your garden does not have the specific conditions that are required to grow these tomatoes. Think about these factors:
• Sometimes how you want to eat the vegetable determines the type that you must grow. Do might want to make juice, or for canning purposes or you want to have these tomatoes as salads. It depends on how you are going to use them.
• Some of the varieties of tomatoes are prone to getting destroyed. You must go with a variety that can withstand local conditions.
• Tomatoes have varied growing periods. Some of them grow in just 2 months while some take more than 90 days to grow.
Step 3: decide whether you want to plants tomato seeds of saplings. The process is known as transplanting. If you are not professional at organic gardening, you can start by planting the saplings. Planting seeds may cause problems. Seeds require too much care.
Step 4: you must ensure steady water supply for the plants. Tomato plants will not survive if there is not optimum supply of water. You must water them two to three times a week and they need three l of water each day. But do not overdo it. Because too much of water can be very harmful for the plants.
