Break Up Songs Referencing Superman

Here is a list of break up songs referencing superman. Why? Well I was really just amazed at how many of these songs are out there. Regardless of their references to superman, these songs are great for getting through a break up.

1. Indie Pop - Cinerama - Superman A song of relationship problems. The singer concludes that superman would be the only one who could satisfy the needs of his lady friend.
2. Pop Punk - Unwritten Law - Superman This is a song about disputes in a relationship. Almost sarcastically, the singer seems to remark: "ah yeah I'm superman, a three piece suit and a master plan!"
3. Pop/Rock - Barton Caroll - Superman This is a song that describes and ending relationship. In the chorus, the singer asks his girl to not leave him. He says "I'm a superman and I will take you away".
4. Folk/Acoustic/Pop - Sean Fournier - Weak (I feel like superman) This is a sad love song about the girl the singer could never have and is now gone. The singer feels weak, like superman must feel if someone were to slip some kryptonite into his beer.

6. Alternative Rock - Stone Temple Pilots - Silvergun Superman This song can be interpreted many ways. A common interpretation is a relationship that has gone sour because of jealousy and betrayal. This is more a relationship between friends rather than a romantic relationship.

Rock - Eric Clapton - Superman Inside Because of lyrics such as "Look in the Mirror, even with a broken heart I'm fine" and "living is so sweet now with a superman inside" this song can be interpreted to be about a break up. The singer is describing many emotions related to a relationship end but is optimistic about the future.
